Ceramic Bottles

Ceramic Bottles
Is it safe to drink a brown, ceramic bottle of wine from Germany called Beameister 1975/Elsheimer Domherr.?

This wine has been in the basement for years and is in a neat brown, ceramic bottle. It says it is a white rhine wine from Germany. I’ve looked all over the internet for info on it and to see if I can drink it, but all I see are the old, empty bottles for sale. Can I pull this out for a Christmas party and impress people or will it make us all sick?

There’s only one way to find out. Pop the cork and pour a glass. If it’s clear and smells good then it’s probably fine. But if it’s cloudy, has a funky color or smell, chuck it, it’s bad. Make sure you taste it before you serve it to your guests.
