Large Ceramic Pots
How long can I keep Arborvitaes growing in pots -vs- having to plant them in the earth?
I want to put a couple Arbovitaes on my deck to create a privacy sheild but want to know if they can last just planted inside a large ceramic pot? If not which plant would be good for this.
p.s. I live in the Central Pacific Northwest (U.S.).
Dwarf conifers are an excellent choice for container gardening. A dwarf arborvitae or other choice if available will do just fine and your maintenance will be very low.
