what do 2 tiny gold marks on the underside of pottery mean please?
i have an old bowl which is porcelain and underneath there are no makers marks but there are two tiny gold marks like speech marks….does this mean anything…a maker or a date or something
this will relate to the makers of the porcelain, model number or when the piece was made. All good quality porcelain has identifiable marks – I would try and track down through a good book or Internet to find out if what you have is worth anything!
