how to clean old ceramic tile.has crazed (tiny cracks) thruout.cracks darkened. need to penetrate/bleac cracks
i have an old, 1920′s home with subway tile in a shower stall… the last round of tiles at the base of the shower stall have “crazed” (developed tiny, spider lines) and have turned dark…do you have any suggestions on how i can thoroughly clean these tiles?…seems i have tried everything…what is needed is something to penetrate the small lines to bleach or clean the darkened areas…HELP!
i do tile work the only thing u can do is use phosfurick acid and if this dosent work leve it if its old subway tile this is a fancy look to me or ripe it out and call total tile in colorado;)
